This is one entry for 's "'Fat' Female Superhero" contest.

This was one of the first drawings I've colored in a while because-- well, long story short, I wasn't very confident in my traditional coloring skills and my tablet is...unable to be used. But for this, I'm fairly proud of how it turned out. The new style was inspired by my friend 's request drawing for me, which you can find here: [link] . I still have much to learn with this style, but I must say I hugely enjoy drawing this way. I can relax and not worry about anatomy, and just draw.

This was not my original entry for the contest. The original one is in a different style, and features my friend and I in fantasy gear. Multitasking, combining an art trade and a contest into one. But I STILL haven't finished. Our faces are still screwing me over.

So, my thought process when coming up with this: "Fat superhero? Female? Hero? AMERICA!!!" And thus this was born.

It's not America's official Nyotalia design. I made it up myself because I don't really like the official one. My friends and her "fratello" helped me decide on a hairstyle. I was stuck between a hairband+loose hair and a hairband+ponytail.

So yeah. Just one of my contest entries for the contest. But even if I doubt either of my entries will win, I had fun drawing this.
