i don't know how many days i've been working on this doll, lost count, but it was "commanding" to be finished, cuz that man does not beg for anything, he only knows how to issue orders XD
pose referenced on a picture of my ex XP, all that muscle mass there created by moi
XD, face structure influenced by the work of Ruth Thompson at [link] shirt and shading on it referenced from my own brain, belt referenced from various google pictures. my own palettes. my own invented pattern. baseless
iam beyond LOVING my Morti, many many hours of work involved in it

I wanted to comment on this amazing doll as soon as I saw it but I didnt have time to write you a long comment so I put it off until today,lol.
This is an INCREDIBLE doll. You get better and better with every one! The muscles on this guy are just soo fantastic. I think the nose is great too- Its the best nose I've seen in the past little while- the bridge and area around the tip and nostrils are very nicely defined. Good flow and movement concerning the hair, and great colors and contrast. I'm definitely loving that belt- the brown area and circles are both great although the buckle looks just a bit *too* yellow to me. His lips look like they're sort of stiff and really..pursed though, which gives an expression that is totally different from the rest of the face- the rest of the face is quite handsome and somehow the lips just arent really working.. I think its the general shape of them and the very smooth line going through them- in real lips there wouldnt be such a smooth curve separating the top lip from the bottom. Overall though this is just incredibly fantastic- I fell in love with this doll the moment I saw the thumbnail,lol. This is totally DD material right here

i got annoyed with the bucle yellow palette at some point and i am not quite satisfied with it either, you are right is is way too yellow. and the mouth! ahhh! that mouth took me a whole entire day to do believe it or not, i just kept erasing and redoing LOL. i know for sure is still lacking, i tried to shade the upper lip a bit more but somehow it didn't look quite right. a couple of people pointed that out to me also in The gathering forum, but perhaps at the time i was just tired of working and staring to his mouth. i will definitely give it another try with rested eyes
