ok this one is a BEAUTY!!!this is no evil monster, just Scutigera Coleoptrata or Common House Centipede (AtzNadal in Hebrew).
i took this picture in a hike to Hiran Mountain, near Meitar in Southern Israel.
picked up some rocks looking for interesting friends and found this one. it was huge! only the body was about 7 cm long.
he was friendly and calm enough to let me take some pictures.
in case you are wondering - these buggers can run FAST! i geuss if we had about 30 legs we would run fast too....
