Description I wasn't sure about the category for that. Architecture or abstract...
I decided on abstract cause I see the graphic motive more dominant, than the architectural one.

The architecture is Azrieli Towers is Tel-Aviv, Israel.
Two, very photographed buildings.
One is square, and the other is round.

This is a different look at these two.
I hope you like it.

All a cellular expression of a much larger organism... Patterns repeat themselves, in various forms, while reiterating themselves in vastly different sizes...

if we'd want to be politically correct the one in the picture is a triangle and not a square

how much of this did you manipulate? because (maybe its just me) i cant see the buildings, the lines look too vector... and the whites are too white, and the blacks are too black, for it to be a photo, i mean i just cant see it, please explain

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

gilad In reply to carbonhazard [2005-05-29 17:03:16 +0000 UTC]

I did not manipulate.
It's been conntrasted a bit, an converted to B&W, but other than that - nothing.

After recently browsing the abstract photography gallery, I found myself disheartened by the lack of comprehension of what abstract photography is. You have, at least to a degree, re-affirmed my faith in its existence.

I'm still trying to understand from where you took this picture. Is it upside down?

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

gilad In reply to Dragonoholic [2005-01-23 11:11:07 +0000 UTC]

It's on it's side.
I was standing in the street, no where special.

I was composing the spot where the two buildings met, that's the key to this frame.

Thank you!

I don't think iam really in abt how these buildings stand ....

Are they like beside eachother and you tilted your camera?

Id like to see the original buildings standing alone... would be interesting

Did you edit anything with the color of the stripes?

The building in the foreground looks somehow unreal (this is not a crit btw) have you changed the levels much during post-editing?
