Very cool shot, amazing actualy, although I think b/w would be a winner.
Amazing once again.

This one is hard too... The shadow is very extensive but the light looks brighter... Mmmhhhh... By the intensity of the light I can say 3 or 4 pm but, by the perspective of the shadow I say 6 PM

hi Gilad...just read your article about light....fabulous and this example is a good tip to try to see things with other eyes...some questions came out....i love bw pictures and i wondered after reading your tips if the best way of getting bw pictures with digital cameras was shooting directly in bw or transforming afterwards....I begun shooting raw pictures and was amazed to see the uncountable possibilities to play around with grey tones in camera raw, desaturating the image first and then in the calibrate tab adjusting the R, G, B, hue and saturation...not sure it is the right tecnique and donΒ΄t know if there is not a certain total percentage to respect with the sliders...as in channel mixer where the total of mixing must be 100%...
Would like to learn to see in BW..i will try to think about all the tips you gave about light ..as you say ..only experience will help to see differently..a lot of information you gave that must be trained until they are assimilated....thanks Gilad for dividing your knowledge..

Well Claire, Shooting directly in B&W is not an option in all digital cameras.
It's nice to experiment in that method, but not necessary if you know how to convert to B&W.
Converting through the RGB channels will always get you quality reasults so in terms of Post processing it's better shooting in color and keeping all options open.

Great shot and to me the best one of the series (the other ones are nice too!).
The funny part is, those people never knew they were being photographed from above..
