this image looks very architectural. great lighting. if the underside of the hand wasn't illuminated slightly, the iamge would lose a lot.

I like your hand.
It's strong and can be even menacing, but it's also human and so can be tender, protective and caring.
As for its shadow... it's all dark and menacing, but its shape is blunt, mal-formed. It's incapable of tenderness or any other human emotion.

i guess this is one a style apart from gilad here ..a poetic frame ,,and yes definetly conceptual ..but i like ur visual appeal of other work where the beauty of the picutre lies with in the negative spaces tones shadows and forms..this is a stlye apart i guess something really quick from you.. but its undoubtley great!

oh dear.....this pic is really lovely..but it just tht..looking at it closely...we all appreciate a helping hand..but how many of those hands are not just claws waititng to get to us??? the shadow looks like a claw..

That's great! The contrast and the light are brilliant... Somehow it reminds me the "Cathedral" of Rodin because like that one the first time I saw yours it looked like a gigantic construction.

I think of Martin Buber when I see this - I may be exposing too much saying that. Something on the lines of Our shadows are a foundation of our learning and growth.
