Stop using image editing applications when you don't know how to use them properly and when you don't know how to achieve high-quality results.
If you're unable to achieve good photographs without heavy (and bad) post-processing -> stop taking pictures at all.

I'll tell you what, you take a look at my gallery and if you find there are no good pictures there, you are welcomed to say stupid things like that. I don't use heavy post processing and it's true that I don't know how to use it. I did use some here as I explained in the descibtion and I used it to the level that I liked it (you will be surprised that I have a say in this).
And another thing,
when you say "constructive criticism" it's used for giving advice of how to do something better in you opinion, not how to avoid doing it at all - that's simply called rude.
