These living toppins appear caged in each level of Pizza Tower, when you release them, they follow you on your journey, very similar to when you release a Flicky and it follows you in Sonic 3D Blast.They are a fundamental thing of the game and there are 5 in total,they appear in each level.
They will compensate you with money so you can rent a boss door from Mr. Stick and get the key to the next floor.
