I think he'd release enough gold to become wealthy but not so much as to depress the gold prices. He'd keep the process secret.
To avoid suspicion he'd likely buy a gold mine that was played out for cheap. Then a miracle, a new super rich vein of gold is found in the mine, the mother lode.
He'd turn objects into gold, melt them down at the mine, pure gold would be suspicious. So mix in some scrap metal such as copper, zinc and tin, so it looks like mined gold.Β

I feel like if this villain really wanted to be evil, he could charge people for turning anything into gold then walk away from the market as gold becomes valueless because it can be manufactured with his ray.

Love your work, especially with some text within the image like that to show some thoughts of the statue.
You really do gold metal well.

Wow, this is just too awesome for words. I am glad you retrieved it because this is just so classic in the poses and those thoughts they have as they are frozen. Great work!

I've been going through my old art, still a few I haven't found yet. some of the first four pictures I submitted were originally scanned back in 1996, on a hand scanner! I'm rescanning them on are really good, up to date scanner.
Next time when I do this style of art I'm going to sketch it in blue pencil and regular pencil. Scan it, THEN finish in Photoshop, instead of doing it entirely in Photoshop like Golden Girl Statues on Display.
To effectively create a drawing completely in Photoshop or Painter you need a Wacom Cintq tablet. It allows you to draw and paint directly on the screen!

I've tried them out at conventions, so much better that a regular Wacom tablet! Someday I'll save enough to get one, cost around 1000 dollars!
I'm about to post several new scans of old drawings, check them out and tell your ASFR friends to take a look.
