Description

A story of ancient betrayal in mythical times and worlds. A sorceress wishes to gain a position of power within a powerful kingdom, to influence and eventually control a vast kingdom as it's queen. She planned to use her magic to marry into a powerful royal family via impersonation.

The sorceress turned the real princess into purest gold with a Midas golden spell. Then after turning the real princess into a solid gold statue the sorceress turned herself into an exact twin of the original princess. The next day the disguised sorceress married the prince the original princess was due to marry. The real princess, now a solid gold statue was presented to the newlyweds as a wedding gift.

But sometimes getting what you want can be the worst thing.

Had artist block, said "f" it and finished it in the early moring hours fighting sleepyness, there it's done.

I got enough sleep and reread the text, decided to not write without sufficient sleep. I corrected the spelling and punctuation somewhat, and replaced the first version with a newer version.
