I noe, it has no time bar or timeline and u hav to wait long time to actually view the whole ting. ><"" sorrie im too lazy to make the buttons and all tat. My advise, download the video, its much more convenient.I have noting much to say bout the animation. It's kinda failure. Animation wise .. its very whacky and everything is jus not right. Okay, enjoy or don't.
The quality is low due to 2 reasons, 1 is its original rendered size was smaller (save my rendering time) and I stretched it in AE >.<"". The other reason is I compressed it in flash...

i really really wanna learn how to do this. i just dont know where to start. college is nto an option for me. what program did u use for the actual 3D models? what programs for all of it? (SO CURIOUS!!)

I did this with 3d max. Everything is done with 3D max, after effects and photoshop for texturing. If u r interested, there are many nline tutorials out there. Look up.
I have also updated few stuffs, come back to check them up. Including my final animation and blog. Take care~

my advice would be to make the character more "animatable" in the first place ( i.e get rid of weird clothing and focus on making the body work ) prehaps if you would have done the character in another style ( non anime-ish ) it would have been easier to do certain things ( expressions for one since the character looked quite expressionless for the most part and even more so in the eyes )
secondly i'd suggest to storyboard or at least thumbnail out your idea before you do it ( i'm not sure if you did ) but i felt those camera movements in the start seemed misplaced and the timing was quite off
lastly make the point of what's going on clear ( i watched it all without any sound and it barely read to me, if you can watch it without sound and it reads you know you've told the story well )
on the up side congrats on making something so detail all by yourself, but next time make it simple! if you're looking for work with that sort of reel no one watching it will care if you did that all by yourself, it's about quality not quantity!

ooo well, good luck on ur modelling. Modelling is the hardest and very time consuming especialy to get tings right. Sigh. I feel like hiring 3D models sumtimes... THanx for dropping by~!

this must have taken a lot of time... i tried doing 3d animation and it requires so much patience. i give u props for being able to render texturize and animate everything by yourself. that's pretty amazing bro. happy new year!

Reminds me a lot of Final Fantasy 8, especially the structure they're on in the beginning - just like the Garden.
Amazing piece, I loved the musical composition. The animation itself could have been sped up a bit to make it seem more dynamic.

It's a great work actually. There's some unnatural movement here and there.. it's quite funny in my opinion and I enjoy it. I know how torturing it can be to make this kind of animation.

About the movement, yea, i noticed the weird movements but I duno what to do to change it. So... I tink its best to redo than changing the animations but I dun hav the patience anymore... so I jus go for it. Sad. Anyway, its a good experience.

the setting and ending music reminds me a bit of ff8. i find that pretty cool. also i dont see this as a failure, its actually awesome. i dont have the patience to model, unwrap, texture, re-wrap, and all the other stuff like rigging etc etc. ugh dunno how they do it sometimes lol. long story short, i like the results ^_^
