Description It's decided that now that Christmas is over it will give us beautiful, fluffy snow and picturesque frost on every tree and plant. Right as I am ready for it to warm up some. I swear it feels like the weather just wants to spite me.  I took almost all these photos outside my fathers office. I would go out for ten minutes, go back inside to warm up then run back out.
I edited this one to bring out the barks actual color more, it was a dark brown in the unedited photo but in reality it was closer to what I edited it to. I tried to keep the snow the same and it was successful enough.
Any advice or critiques are welcome and appreciated!
 XOXO,
Juanita

Hey there! Thank you for submitting to for feedback!
This is a nice close-up from the snow! Since you submitted for feedback, I do have some suggestions for you:
- I find the composition a bit sober. I am missing the focus on a single subject in this photograph, it might have been better to get something like a single branch, a leaf, or flower or something as the subject instead of this bigger, what I think is a tree. Isolating a subject is great for close-ups, this photograph has a bit too much going on.
The lighting and depth of field in this photograph are lovely! Good work!
I hope this helps, and if you have questions, please ask!

The cold is getting tiring. This morning I woke up to find all the snow had been blown away.

I'm sorry for that.  Finally today, I took my 3 grandkids out to fossil hunt.  I have been going to this place for months, looking and looking.  One of them within 30 minutes had the biggest geode I ever say there.  Dug it out of the ground.  OMG I wanted it bad, but it's hers and it's special.  It may only be 1.5 inches in width, but it was priceless to see her face finding it.  We had the greatest time I have had and it was 60 degrees and no wind.  Spring is coming, hold on....

Thats really cool! Hopefully she will let you take  few pictures though..
Warmth will be here soon enough. I'm hoping we get enough rain this season that I can actually call it the rainy season.
