oh, thanks...i'm not really sure what i've done well. it was just a picture that was taken of me on halloween, so i really didn't do too much!

yeah that's me in the pictures...thanks. I think they were just lucky in getting a good shot. I'm doing pretty well, very busy but also trying to have some fun as well. hope everything is going well with you.

I have to admit I'm not really sure how to respond, I think it's very flattering that you would want to paint me, but I guess I'm a little nervous on how it would look! I guess it's okay, you can use one of the photos I've posted as my ID, whichever you like better. Just sort of give me an idea of what you'll be doing with it.

Thank you...I've looked at your gallery and I must say your work is very good. I've only recently taken up photography and am still learning a lot, so to see others who are much more advanced is inspiring.

No excuse needed for that! You look absolutely radient in that! Beautiful, ornate dress! I love the subtle color variations... and your hair, and that groegeous face!! Delicately beautiful through and through...
I would meantion the intensity in your eyes, but I'm affriad I'll go too far.
Wonderful picture! Great choice of character, IlmarΓ« was very mysterious, Tolkien doesn't meantion much of her... except that she's very powerful, yet only a handmaiden, but also very beautiful. Not sure how much Tolkien you've read, but he's written the most of her in the Silmarillion.

Thank you, I'd be lying if I said I wasn't flattered by your comment, it's very nice of you to say. Well it's interesting that you mentioned the eyes, because I took out any trace of red eye, and was only left with this orange glare that I could not remove. In any other situation it would have driven me nuts, especially because my eyes are naturally green, but being in the halloween spirit I went with it.
Of Tolkien's books I've read The Hobbit, LOTR, and The Silmarillion. I chose IlmarΓ« because I thought it would be impossible to do Varda(who doesn't even posess a form or shape, and is completely godlike). IlmarΓ« was the next best choice, and she's Varda's handmaiden(also first of the Maiar), so there's still is a connection.
p.s.- if you really want to be impressed know that my mom made that dress and it's matching cape in only a few hours with nothing other then my measurements, that's talent.

Well, I don't mind stating that I'm very impressed by you. It's been quite some time since I've read any of Tolkien's work; however, he's always been one of my favorite authors, especially in his depth in painting an entire history of a world. But that you're embued with such depth in knowlege of his works... yes, very impressed.
I'd be tempted to ask you to send me a recording of your voice... you meantion opera in your profile; I'm curious as to what operatic styles, genres, or historical timetables you've either studied in, enjoy, or sing yourself. I'm a musician, and my favorite instrument has always been the human voice.
And I'm lastly tempted to once more tell you how incredibly beautiful you are. Once again, I probably go to far, but you have a unique beauty, one that's very powerful to me.

Thank you once again for your kind comments, I'll admit I don't know all that there is to know in Tolkien's vast world, but whatever peeks my interest I will explore.
Well I must inform/warn you that my voice is quite unique. I've never been classically trained(which I at times regret, but at others am glad I did not), but have been told by a close friend of mine that has, that I am an Alto2/Tenor.
This of course may seem odd coming out of a 5'3 woman, but I have a broad range. I enjoy singing opera because I find it is challenging enough for my voice, otherwise I'm a true camelion when it comes to singing and can morph my voice to whatever I would like it to be. My preferred language for opera is Italian, and my inspiration is Josh Groban.
