Maskevil evolves from Mawile during night-time, holding a Festive Mask while outside of its Poké Ball and after walking for 400 steps alongside its trainer in the Kitakami region.
Yes, Mawile is in Kitakami... it is just a bit hard to find 😜... not really, what a missed opportunity 😔
Got inspired by @ferkkobun 's hisuian gengar and by ogerpon, both oni inspired and made my personal oni-mawile 😌 i still cannot fathom why gamefreak did not include mawile in Kitakami's pokédex... it just was the perfect fit being a yokai inspired pokémon in a japanese region 🙄
