I was experimenting with a darker line art in this one which is why it looks kind of different from the usualdone in copic marker and ink

Interesting, it really brings out a Manga feel from the piece, as if this was a cover or intermission kinda page. I think darker lines bring out your pieces more as well, its nice

I think you should experiment with it further,

i think the darker line-art actually goes well with this piece because it makes it seem very rich, kinda like dark chocolate...anywayz, i really like it! i like the character too! it reminds me of me. kinda strange but i wear rings on every finger, i wear an ear cuff (tho on the opposite ear)...crazy, now all i need is a mask! ^_^ cool!

I like your fine lines and your darker lines. The fine lines are kind of...wistful? And the darker lines seem slightly more like something you'd see in a comic book. They both look good; you should try dark lines more often.

I like this type of lineart but it doesn't influence your soft colouring technique too much. But it's not that noticeable so you're fine

Hmm...darker lineart. I like it. It makes the character "pop" more. Usually your stuff is a whole scene, where the characters stand out, but they don't "pop". Eek! I'm not making any sense. XD
With this picture, I like the darker lineart because of the super simple background so your focus is mainly on the character, but with others that you do, with the more complicated backgrounds, I'd still like the lighter lineart better because your focus is also drawn to the whole scene which gives a lot of meaning/feeling to your pictures. Either way = Beautiful, beautiful, beautiful! ^^

Wow. The darker lineart definitely makes a difference and I love it, it gives it a manga sort of feel I think. I adore your work and I didn't know it was possible for me to like it even more than I already did. I'd love to see some more of this experimentation in the future ^_~
