This is an A3 drawing I sent to a very good friend of mineShe has given me support from the very moment I joined DA and couldn't think of a better gift to give to her for Christmas.
In fact....as soppy as it sounds, I wouldn't have even drawn it without being inspired by friends I have made here.....so thankyou all!

This is a very nice gift, and very thoughtful of you to take the time to draw it. I don't have much experience drawing, but, if I remember right, H's have Harder tips, as opposed to B's, which are softer/darker, and HB's are the regular pencils. Hope this helps.

I'm a bit worried about shading too deep, and it not looking perfectly blended.
What I keep forgetting, is that faces arn't perfectly shaded, and perfectly
smooth.....I'll get there!

Looks great, just a tip, more darker shade would make it pop up more, but looks good.

I haven't drawn propperly for years, so I'm still learning. I've got some good paper now, but haven't got a clue what pencils to use. Can't get to grips knowing what 'HB' does what

Bascially the higher the HB number, the darker they are and smoother. I'm still getting use to them too
