Actually, at least in Japan, though I'm not sure if here in the US, MC/Naoto is RIDICULOUSLY popular. At least, that's what I've heard, though the US fandom for it is actually rather healthy, and some of the very best-of-the-best fanfics for Persona 4 are for Souji/Naoto.
... when I get this goddamn game I'm leveling up HER S.Link to max with lovers, and HER'S alone. I love that pairing. To unhealthy degrees.

haha XD yeah when i first drew this, there wasn't much of a fandom because it just came out, i was very very pleased to find later that this pairing has won over many hearts in the US and Japan. A former friend of mine probably wrote many many fanfictions as well, as i am hoping she still is writing them. c:

aaah, yes, to initiate Naoto's social link, you have to max out courage and knowledge, she shows up rather late in the game so there isn't too much time to waste, and also a pretty high level of understanding is required in one of the links...
