Trying my hand at drawing mean scary war gryphons. I'm so used to drawing the happy-go-lucky fun gryphon so it's a way to push myself to achieve something else. He almost looks like an elder gryphon too. Maybe he's the wise old elder in his clan. I'll be adding armor on him next.Related content

It would really do nice effect, if you changed a little bit shape of front paws/claws, at least in my opinion

Thanks!Β lol I loved that gryphon but he was way too much of a push over... Though come to think of it, his master did full on punch a snarling fire breathing dragon in the face so maybe he's more extreme than his musical numbers let on.

About the gryphon.Β
Yes, I think he could have some improvements like a larger head compared to his upper body,Β
but I suppose that was just to make him seem more like an evil type with a small brain perhaps.
And his master was bad ass and batshit crazy!
