Description
Last night my mind was a storm of thoughts. I couldn’t sleep, so I decided to get up and draw something. Since Zentangle are meditative, I thought maybe doing one would calm my mind. This one turned out quite symbolic.

I began with a “Z” since hat was my goal, combined with a question mark for the questions tumbling around my head. Then I noticed that it looked like a person. From there the general shape came together and the patterns began. I wasn’t able to finish it last night because my daughter woke up calling for me.

Back at it this morning, the patterns fell into place representing the topics and questions under consideration: time, commuting in bad weather, salary, family, my love of my current job tainted by negative changes, the disjointed nature of the decision making process, the swirling knotted emotions, etc.

As of right now, no solution has been reached, but there is time, and I do feel more at peace about the process to come.
