I wanted to paint something purple and orange, so i colored old Dumbles here. I didn't color the one in the corner because no matter what i do it still looks like his concience. Like, "Na-ah-ah, Albus, you need to SHARE the lemon drops." It looked a lot creepier when it was colored.Dumbledore is a greedy slob when it comes to lemon drops.
Gah!!! the purple on this computer looks terrible!!! I hate it when the pic looks really good until i post it and the colors all change.

i am in love with the way you drew him( not in love with the 100 and something years old man, with the drawing, i mean the way- whatever, you know what i mean) it s just, he looks much more powerful, alert, ready to fight, he looks much more like he is portrayed in the books. i love it, great work.

I like this version of Dumbledore. He looks a lot more powerful than the other fanart I've seen of him where he just looks old and weak.

Can I just tell you how much I love that corner lineart? I feel like in the books eventually all we got to see was him being somber and weighed down... that top pic looks like it's from happier times, and it's so lovely to see him playful like that. Because of course, he was a magnificently playful person.

Yes, I love happy Dumbledore! He's so much more cheerful in the first few books! I didn't notice before, but you're right, he DOES get kinda depressing as the books progress!
