Description I colored this. [link]

Nope. No background. Tooooooo lazy.

Note: Hey, sorry I've been negligent to my account. But you see, after I finally got my life back in February, the moniter on my mom's computer went down. That sounds like no excuse, but it is, in fact, a real blow to my art-making abilities. This is how I bring my art to life:
1. I draw by hand.
2. I scan said drawing onto my mom's computer.
3. I transport the scan onto my $25 mac to make it look nice.
4. I put the finished product back onto my mom's computer.
So you see, when the moniter is down, that means no scanner either. And it's still down. So I just have to work with what's already on my mac, and post stuff on one of my brother's computers. I wanted to let everyone know earlier, but my brother's computer won't let me update my journal. It kicks me off the internet every time I try.

Hopefully these issues will be remedied in a couple of weeks. I'm workin on it.

Is this from 1,000 nights? This is beautiful!!!! I've never seen someone draw Arabic people so accurately while maintaining their own style. I adore accuracy. <33

Wow, I love how into the story they both look. Usually they are both depicted as just lounging, but this makes sense; Scheherazade should be an intense story-teller

Beautiful~ and lots of energy!

Y'know, I'd always thought of Scheherazade as just sorta whippin' the stories out there, but they both look really interested in it. I guess the girl had to really love the stories she was telling to make them involving.... I hadn't thought of that....

Anyways, the costumes are beautiful and the figures great and expressive and guhhh, it's lovely.

Hehe, in the drama class last week we were working on that "Scheherazade" theme. In our own kind of way but still, it was this motif

**stops rambling**

Anyway. Great colouring here, I love all the reds and oranges and purples The expressions are amazing, too! He looks so fascinated and lost in her stories, and I really like how in her face you can still see some of the fear of dying that makes her tell the story.

He seems so enthralled in her story, and it looks like a pretty exciting part. I love when a single picture with no movement or caption can get across so many ideas! The colors look really great as well, the coloring and the color choice, it adds even more energy to both of them. And I love how he has his elbow on her knee.
