eventually!!! Derek has a script he's worked on. All it takes is getting the funding/actors/a studio to film it and so forth. Warner Bros did buy the rights to it, that is for sure.

I really hope it happens, but that it wont be a failed attempt that makes all the fans wish it was never made. That would kinda suck...

Basically what's really gonna make the movie possible is showing Warner Bros that we as fans want this movie to happen...otherwise they won't make money off of it...like seriously a lot of factors to getting a movie made rely on revenue.

Oh nonono that would never work. The highest amount gained through kickstarter so far has been about 8 million dollars and full-length movies cost tens to several hundred million dollars so Kickstarter would noottttt be the way to get it funded...
the way to ensure it gets made is just to show studios that fans love the series by like, emails, or writing letters. well, that would be for when and if the project is greenlit but not quite worked on.

people usually don't like it when someone goes to their art they worked really hard on, and comment about something totally unrelated.
one famous example is this scenario:
"oh this drawing/character reminds me of [series/character artist has never heard of]"
except in your case it was kinda related.
and I could swear I have heard people refer to Skul' as a wizard, not gonna lie.
