The thing that kept you awake every night never changed. It was always the same question, rolling over your mind repeatedly, making you toss and turn in bed, causing you deep stress and a sickening anxiety: How were you going to get food on the table tomorrow?

You'd worry about it throughout the night, eyes open, staring into the lonely, consuming darkness that seemed to even dim your mind into depression, listening to any noises the night brought with it as tears glided down your cheeks. And that's how you'd stay, sometimes until morning, but sometimes sleep would take pity on you, and claim you, letting you slip into the blissful unconscious state it welcomed you into. However as soon as your alarm clock went off, it all started again.

Mornings meant not only did you have to force yourself out of bed, but you also had to awake your twin little brothers, Lovino and Feliciano, both six years old. Then there was the struggle of getting them to school, with breakfast in their stomach and a packed lunch in their bag. After walking them both to school, you then had to get yourself either to college or work, depending on what day it was. You only worked as a cleaner though, so, you didn't make much at all. As soon as college or work was over, you had to get food for dinner before it was time to pick your brothers up. And if you couldn't, you and your brothers would go hungry.

You'd go to bed after the long day, and the process would repeat.
