Description Personal journal for =Gypsy- .
She was asking for something based on my White Rose skin, with a star theme. As well as glitter and swirls - just my thing

Additionally she mentioned that blue and purple should be the main colors on a dark background and this is the result.

Hope you like it!
Can be seen in action soon at her page

As it is based on a free skin, I wouldn't require any permission.

If we are talking about a commission, then I could do that for you.
Otherwise feel free to adjust the installable file how you like it (replacing images, colors etc)

Yes, I was thinking of a matching journal and gallery commission. The brushes that I want added are like stamps of different constellations with the lines included if you can find or make some. The two I want are Perseus and Andromeda and the color I have in mind is the purple you used for the star fixture in the divider. You could also include some spiral galaxies if you think it'll look nice.

Could you sent all this in a note to me? Because comments get lost easily and for such things I like to be able to look things up and keep them stored.
I don't think that there are brushes like that though. At least for special star constellations.

Have you seen my commission prices already? Just asking, because some people get scared of them.

Yes, €50 is equivalent to $50, right? They both say 5,000 points, so. I'll send it all and we can probably get started in early February because I'm going on an expensive vacation in January .

GinkgoWerkstatt In reply to LoveRunsRed [2015-12-31 19:23:26 +0000 UTC]

Note quite 50€ would be $54.
If we don't get started before February I think it would be better the send the money then and not now. Don't like to have things open for that long, without giving back. And it case we change our minds until then or something happens, it is also much safer.

I don't understand, I was going to use this as my journal skin but it doesn't have the button... ^.^; Is it just me?

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

GinkgoWerkstatt In reply to NewMclovin [2012-01-14 08:15:44 +0000 UTC]

If you would read the description you would know why it doesn't have that button. It's a personal journal, means it was made only for one person

Well I did read the description, sorry the way I put it it sounded like I didn't lol... I just thought you may have decided for everyone else could use as well... ^.^; Guess not. Still a nice journal skin though

GinkgoWerkstatt In reply to NewMclovin [2012-01-15 07:41:22 +0000 UTC]

No, unless the people who they are made for want me to share it with others i won't make free skins out of personal ones.

GinkgoWerkstatt In reply to Lorelei-Coral [2010-06-22 19:49:50 +0000 UTC]

Hm, but you have to keep in mind that the one i have used is a 3-dimensional thing, to there are more then the 6 points you are currently seeing - like those that point towards the viewer. They are nearly invisible

But yeah the outer shape is the same.

I have a question that might be silly but how do I edit/personalize a journal skin? like the links and features?

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

GinkgoWerkstatt In reply to honey-stock [2010-06-22 06:48:33 +0000 UTC]

Basically you can recode the whole journal, or replace the images with your own, change the color codes of background, text etc. The possibilities are endless. It just needs a bit CSS knowledge in case you want to modify more

If you want to change links and features you just need to take a look at the code where they are added and then replace them with your own. Often they hide in "Skin Header" and "Skin Footer" at the Option-Tab on the journal page

applejackles [2010-06-20 18:31:45 +0000 UTC]

Oh my, this is some journal I'm seeing. I've never seen one quite like it. Infact, I've been looking for a color-explosive journal for a while, but it seems that I'm mistaken. Regardless, I'd love to see this up and running somewhere, and maybe it is now! Anyway, the style in general and where the parts are placed, it's pretty fantastic. My only criticism is that bottom left corner. The curve is a little off, but that's nothing that stands out to most people.

Thank you for taking a read!

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

GinkgoWerkstatt In reply to applejackles [2010-06-21 07:57:18 +0000 UTC]

Imo there are a lot of "color-exploding" journal, but not to many as rather plain ones
It is already running, you can see it on =Gypsy- s page in action.

In which way off? The original idea was a bit different, but imo it still works

Thank you for your comment!

applejackles In reply to GinkgoWerkstatt [2010-06-21 16:58:12 +0000 UTC]

Aha, no problem!

Ye', a plain color blast is pretty much on the red dot in my eyes. I believe I had a green one with flowers, and that was pretty cool, but this is 10x better.

Awesome, I'll check that out :3

Hm. Well, I have to notice these things such as rough edges and glow cuts, but maybe I'm wrong here.
