Premium Commission just for my good freind~As a close DA buddy, Acey knows how I work and that I like freedom most times~!
So she gave me full control over the concept and everything for this commission, and I couldn't have been happier!
I took this chance to tackle a challenge: a manmade structure! I figured her white Bengal Tiger character would look at ease inside a forgotten Buddhist shrine, so here we are~!

Super fabulous, you're so good with interiors, they are as lovely as your outdoor backgrounds *________* I really like how this background feels so natural despite it being interior, the tiger looks like it's in its natural habitat even when surrounded by a manmade structure and that's a weird thing xD Just proves how awesome you are >D

ahaha, I'm stoked you think so! It was a hefty challenge for me, as I'm used to twisting branches and rocks in natural form, kinda random across the piece.
This was like the total opposite, real analytical and precise!

LOL I'm glad my struggle doesn't seem to show up in the finished product, because it WAS HARD!

Yup, all my lineworks are pencil from start to finish, I never ink in PS. Never liked how impersonal it is; I like the contact of pencil on physical paper.
IT WAS HARD. Thank god for my clear plastic ruler!

Wow! I've tried to do that, but... I always end up smudging my pencil stuff with my hand! After a good doodle session my hand is usually covered in graphite.
And yes, rulers are awesome. C:

Hands consistently covered in pencil dust = LEGIT ARTIST.
SPECIALLY clear rulers so you can see where the heck the lines will end up in relation to everything else!

YES, opaque rulers are the worst! Better than nothing, but I always mess up when I use them. xD
