heh - this pic captures basically a young girl's transformation into a young woman. The lone figure and the bag represents the woman, whilst the posture and the innocent face is the girl.
It's quite disturbing viewing an 11/12 year old as such, but such is life.

i wasnt aware she was 12. in fact i didnt click the fullview until after commenting. ill go ahead and concede that hexdecimal's critique was more accurate. with the exception of the toiled look in her Ella's face... as obviously trudging through that snow is just as much a task as her transformation to womanhood.

That's pretty much what Ella's like really... she's all ickle and emily's friend-y but wants to be a grown up with hernatty handbags and mobile phone and stuff. It's kind of funny... when I was eleven I would have been running around pretending to be a dinosaur
