Bah, sorry for double post, but that was a bland reply. This is a truly gripping and painful image of Auron's final moments: in fact, the very moment when the alchemy of his own willpower, fury and grief transformed him into an unsent.
You've hidden the horror of what just happened to his eye under his hand, which makes the image even stronger. His left hand digging into his knee makes me wince.
Also, it's a good likeness. In short: wow. One of the best portraits of Auron I've ever seen, distilling the character down to a poignant moment.
