I've always wanted to do a Halloween piece but never got around to it before. Stayed up late to finally finish this! Was a bit of a crunch in the end there. ^^

So Vance is obviously dressed as the White Rabbit from Alice in Wonderland (which was such a no-brainer, his anthro form is a white rabbit and the allegory of falling down the rabbit hole fits his story so well), Rei was a little less obvious. For whatever reason I thought of Masque of the Red Death very quickly when trying to pick a suitable costume for her, so I went back and read it and... kiiinda started thinking if we're going Poe, The Raven would've suited her much better. But I had already started drawing at that point, so I just swapped out the plague doctor mask she would've had for a raven mask.

I started out by trying to think of what they would actually pick for themselves, but was thwarted by Rei's unwillingness to cooperate. xD
