This is my version of clanker from banjo-kazooieclay- about two class periods to make, and two more to paint

Even down to the eggs and feathers. But I wish it had the original color scheme. Y'know, the grey and patchy rusty look.

Great work! The little colourful eggs and feathers (plus jigsaw piece) give it that extra flair. It's a nice contrast to the colour of the metal.

Heh, as for time:
Short answer: I am guessing about 4 hours
Long Answer: Two class periods to make the piece and two more to paint it after it was fired. (I am not going to count the days I had to wait for it to be fired) One class period is 90 minutes, but I use about 30 minutes of that for start up and clean up. (hunting down tools that are not clean, or in the right place... then making sure everything is where it should be at the end of class... ugg) So I am estimating about an hour of work per class. 4 class periods- about 4 hours of work.

Wow; it's surprising you created that in such little time.
The creators of Banjo-Kazooie recently ran a competition where you had to make something inspired by the Banjo games. I bet you could've entered that and won! I was going to make the new game's first world from fabric, but I've still not got around to starting it.
But yes, Clanker deserves more appreciation on DeviantArt!
