(i never have a clue where to submit my art to)thought i'd upload a piece ive been working on. im growing really fond of it, even though there def should be changes.
critique and comments are incredibly welcomed.

The paper is pretty close to that color, minus the gradation. It's a solid grey tone

This is simply amazing to me. The shading is excellent and the anatomy for the fingers is correct, but for the outstretched arm, the fingers look a little bit small.
I'm no artist, though, so you might not want to take the critique to heart ^^!
I hope, one day, I could become as good as you while drawing hands.

thanks for your critique, theres a link in the description of the arm i used as a reference. the fingers looked right at the time but ill double check when i get a chance. its kinda a chubby arm, i had someone else tell me the arm was too wide towards the right.

I really like the body language of the hands....it seems like a progression for awkward stiffness to a confident relaxed stride...the way I see it
It also makes me want to invite many people to finger walking session.

you know i didnt notice the stiffness leaving the hands, but it definitely helps my piece. thanks for pointing that out
lol when i was younger id always imagine my fingers running across the passing scenery outside the car window. it always amazes me how full of emotion and meaning hands can be.

This may sounds strange but sometimes I "catch" my hands in cool poses....like they're their own little people...
That reminds me of my toes and watching them grip the ground.

This is brilliant, looks like your very soft with the pencil which works really well on this piece. i really like the fact the paper and image appear quite dark? although thats probs just down to photo or lighting??
anyway great job - going in my favs!

actually its done in charcoal, so that helped alot with the softness of the piece. As for the paper its grey, so even though the picture shows some false gradation in the paper at the top, the color is true.
