Hurrah, It's a print now!But not on DeviantART.

The Japanese text translates to "Pacific Rim" (in red, top left) and "Kaijuu Scientists" (top right) and the character's names (Hermann Gottlieb, Newton Geiszler) are beside the characters.

Alright, never written a critique before, but here it goes. I think this piece is brilliant. It captures everything about the film without simply being an illustrated scene from the film. At no point did this happen, but it fits in perfectly - the dark, the rain, the shadowy shapes of people going about their mysterious lives. The kaiju brain in the jar, as well as the kaiju tattoos remind you of the cause of their urgency and fear (at least in one of them). The kanji completes the whole image in my opinion, not just physically framing the two scientists but conceptually framing the world in which they are characters. Well done all around.
(I don't know what "vision" is, but I assume it's pretty high. Half originality because you didn't come up with Pacific Rim, so no shame there.)

A fine piece of art, worthy to be the cover of a tie-in comic.
The characters look like right from the movie, with their body language and facial expressions as well the overall style with realistic body proportions and such details as wrinkles, shadows and strands of hair.

Well, German actors are a rare breed in Hollywood and blockbuster producers tend to stick with well-known actors.
After all, the Australian Hansens were played by an American and an English actor; Β the Russian Kaidonovskys and Chinese Wei Tangs by Canadian actors and Chinese-Peruvian Tendo Choi by an American actor of German-Mexican descent.Β
IΒ΄m glad enough to see German characters in a Hollywood movie, who arenΒ΄t bland bad guys. Plus Burn Gorman and Charlie Day did a hell of a job with these roles.Β

Gottlieb's face is lovely...and totally in character.Β Besides Pentecost (Idris Elba is just amazing in everything) and Mako, these two were my favorite characters in the entire movie.
