Lovely portrait, and I love b/w portraits.
But the background distracts me from the main focus...It's that poster...

yeah and some photos sticked on the wall....I didn't really know what to do with the background....I didn't want to make it black, the photo would had looked a bit artificial...so I left like that

I usually just darken it a little and then blur it.
Blurring things that arn't the focus can help alot sometimes.
