Metro+ Luna : An XP Inspired Visual Style combined with Metro Visual Style for Windows 7Remember XP? Well if you don't, skip to the next sentence. Ah... Just remember it, with the good times and also the time you broke your computer and you went out to get a warranty but you didn't know that your warranty was over 7 minutes and 21 seconds ago. Just kidding! Windows XP had brought us good times and now its the time to remember those since XP is now in its twilight years, may be? One way to remember it is by using this visual style inspired by XP's Luna with the touch of Metro.
Information + Features:
- Wallpaper and Exploreframes, .dll for x86 and x64 and .bmp, included
- Tested working on Windows 7 x32 (32-bit) and x64 (64-bit), both non-SP1 and SP1 (outdated)
- Non-transparent but in Aero (DWM) mode

Thank the gods I didn't actually reboot.
A tip for other people: there is no need to reboot to replace explorerframes.dll. You can just ctrl-alt-del, open the task manager, End Task explorer.exe, then New Task... and type explorer.exe. Not only does this save you lots of time, but it also prevents an emergency in case the replacement file is corrupt, such as this one.
If the file is corrupt (or you did something wrong) then explorer.exe will crash when you try to restart it using the task manager, alerting you to the problem but at least you're still in Windows (albeit without the shell) and you still have internet access, putting you in a much better position to fix the problem.
To fix it, click Show Processes of All Users to give task manager admin permissions, accept the permissions request, then go to New task... and type cmd to start a command prompt. You can now rename the files back. (For millennials: "ren x.dll y.dll" to rename a file, "cd.." to go to the parent folder, "cd foldername" to go to a child folder)

Could someone help please? I've installed this theme to a T and works brilliantly. Except one thing. When I go to upload something on Imgur, and the box opens.. The navigation pane to the left is blank?

Great Work! Actually I was looking for the look ans feel of the Windows XP BETA (Watercolor theme) but since it seems no one ported it to Windows7 yet I'll stick with this real beautyfull version of luna! Did't like the original, but this synthesis of metro and luna is what windowsxp should have looked like!

Thank you for creating & sharing this theme, old's cool and clean, i like it ! But there is a problem,
the 64-bit version of ExplorerFrame.dll is wrong. When i try to use it, windows popup an error. 32-bit is ok though.
Something strange : both 32 & 64 are 1 458Ko.
