ohohoh I've been feeling loveydovey for a while and so I drew it for the scd contest hurrhurrIn this picture time itself has stop once these two lovebirds touched lips hurrhurr so the in itself it the atmosphere of lack of movement since blue is a cool colour and the cooler things get the slower they are
theres also the whole blue bubble type spheres or light to signify light and those things in anime when its usually a dream.
blue is also signifying the coldness of the place and listen to what theses guys say

and then this hurrhurr like an anime too =]
I kept it simple too while detailing minor thing like ruffles and such
saying this makes me all giddy yet embarassed lolz
so blue is the coldness and the characters being cold..
and the halftone is texture to repressent graininess like a photo [stoped time]

kissing is the hardest thing to draw since it deals with perpective and such try looking up kiss on dA lots of good refenence and ideas like this one [link] used that the most ahaha
