Description I added Gimp Paint Studio to my Gimp and was trying out all the new brushes etc and when I was done playing I had this!

I really am enjoying Gimp Paint Studio and would like to thank ~TheShock for suggesting it to me.

So all you Gimp users out there, give GPS a look. It was super easy to add and super easy to learn.

Enjoy!

I do take commissions, note me or email me direct if interested.

Thank you! Photoshop has it's good points and bad points just like Gimp does. I like that Gimp is free and super customizable. It is a very powerful graphics tool too. I sound like a commercial don't I? Ha ha! And over here we have the GPS extension that will enable you to paint like a pro!!! ha ha!

I'd love to try Painter, then an easy 3D program if I have time.

Have you ever tried Blender? It's free and there's a lot being done with it professional quality.

Never tried it b4. I really can use only Photoshop. I used to unsuccessfully tried to learn Illustrator once, then I stop after I noticed that most of digital painters in DA use Photoshop and they still can create amazing works from it.

There are many tutorials you can learn from for all these free programs. I found them to be very easy to learn and the outcome was just as good as the high priced programs. I haven't used Blender in awhile but my son uses it and it has come a long ways. Apparently it has some really cool features. My son says it is like modeling with clay to produce 3D stuff.

That sounds interesting. I'll remember the name Blender in case I have chance to learn another program.

Lovely! I love the vibrancy. It feels rich with emotion, just like love. The textures look really nice in the background.

Thank you very much. Who knew that something that started off as a scrap for testing out brushes would reach out to so many people! I am so pleased you like it. I had fun making it

Ha ha! When I started it I had no intentions on it being anything other than a scrap for testing the new brushes but there were so many that it started to evolve into something fun. I had to mute the colors a bit before posting it, the original was a bit too much for my eyes! It was fun to do and not my usual thing.

Ha ha! Yes I fell in love with GPS and had to show it So far so good with GPS. I don't find that it has caused too much of a difference other than give me more options at my fingertips. I don't really like having the color tools in my tool box and looked in the gimp manual to see if I could remove them but haven't come across a way yet. I would eventually get used to it but I think I would prefer them not being there along with a couple other tools that I rarely use. I have been reading the Gimp manual and started from the first page...I am soooooo happy that I decided to do that! I have found a multitude of tools and hints etc in which I had no idea even existed! I think my favorite was finding the quick mask button in the bottom left corner. What a handy little tool that one is. When I started using Gimp all I did was look up any of the tools I had trouble with and learned most of it through trial and error. It is much more worth the time to read through and test all the tools because I have learned more in a day than I had in two or three years. I figured since I knew most of the Photoshop tools that I would know all about the Gimp tools - not true!

Thanks. The colors are somewhat 'vibrant' but I tend to go for that sort of thing when it's just me messing around
