Description Original title right?... haha. I couldn't think of anything but this is a work in progress so it's ok. Got plenty of time to think of something. Anywho, I had fun with this one. There are things I would've changed if I had just a bit more patience but I just want to get to painting it so it's done as a sketch at the moment. Please no comments on anatomy issues. I am fully aware that I need more practice.

Hopefully I can get the painting done soon so I can have something more complete to show ya's

Anyway, thanks for the view!

just a pencil on paper... i used photoshop to add a gradient to it to make it look more interesting

I see. Well it looks great Can you explain the process in how to do this, or do you know of a tutorial? I haven't used Photoshop for years and am now using CS6 in school. I'm trying to learn everything I can, lol. Also, do you by chance know how to mix colors with the mixer brush tool? I have looked everywhere for a tutorial and cannot find one.

If you go to this tutorial: [link] it shows you how to do what I did with the gradient in this sketch.

For your other question, I haven't really used the mixer brush at all in photoshop... normally I just pick colours in the colour picker and just use any of the brushes I want to use to blend colours together to get the colour(s) I want. It takes practice to get a good feel of how to use the brushes effectively but with time and (a bit of frustration!) it gets easier. I know Corel Painter has a really nice colour mixer where you can easily blend colours together and it works just like real paint (ok maybe not just like it but you get the idea).
