A Princess, a pilot and eventually a war pilot for the modern day military. Lucia's got quite the career going for her.

Its interesting to note the difference in expressions over the three artworks which I don't know whether its down to Skornie's request or by your own interpretation, but it's no less interesting to figure out what her personality is assuming the sketches reflect her inner thoughts.

As a princess she outwardly appears dainty and pleasant while her inner thoughts conflict between a grumpy "I'm bored and I would rather be anywhere else but here" look with slight elements of wistful joy and a more melancholy expression which likely reflects her royal duty... Whatever that may be, assuming that the monarchy in Veleska is important rather than in reality where governments have all but usurped authority from Kings, Queens, Court Jesters and Dark Lords of the Sith.

As a Pilot she feels much more at ease and a little more expressive, likely due to the freedom flight can give her. Even in the sketches she looks a little more curious as to where her next destination will be and with a massive smile on her face when lowering her goggles, ready for action.

And then of course we see Lucia tasked with being a Pilot for war where now all the joy she once felt is gone. In its place remains fatigue, determination to survive, trauma and despair and from her coloured profile a general outlook of an individual who's forgotten the basic pleasures of simply living. Unfamiliar with any situation that doesn't involve sitting behind the controls of an aircraft designed to kill.

Boredom from inactivity in combat masking the turmoil that many must repress less their emotions get the better of them on the battlefield.

I realize that maybe my interpretation went way off course and Skornie likely intended for this to be a single character who was interpreted in several different roles and styles but regardless it does make for an interesting, if slightly dark narrative between all three artworks which I'd like to think is a credit to your talent Giulia ^^
