Description This is a Re-Make of "Jurassic" [link] of course Jurassic 2 is more realistic XD.
Compare these 2 image and let tell me what of the 2 is better.

A Scene when I want to convey emotions about a Spectacular era of 65 milion years ago. So comment that.

Well, I think it is kind of obvious which one of the two is better

The lighting in this piece easily beats the old one. The forest is way more defined (and feels less repetitive), as well as the grass. The water also feels much more natural due to the surrounding rocks receiving a better indirect illumination. In the old work, the water felt out of place, as if it wasn't really part of the whole. This had mostly got to do with the dark shadows on the rock which had no effects on the water. The indirect illumination in this one does a very good job in making the water feel like it belongs there. The clouds are also a nice touch and a good way to add depth to the whole piece.

It is awesome to see just how much of a difference lighting setups can be to art

Yes you're right.
Sometimes, Art need just 1 touch of illumination or a touch of color in plus to improve the realism. Thanks for your "Exclusive" comparision.
Thank you

I cccooouuuullllldddddd afford it.... but that's A LOT of frigging money. I prefer not to spend that much money on something that might not work out for me. XD But yes, it looks amazing. It would essentially obliterate my need to use environmental photo references. That would be so awesome. :\ If I could combine Vue with my 2D work.... *sigh* Well, I'm endeavoring to write a how to art book so hopefully it will sell well. Then perhaps I'd feel more comfortable dropping that much dosh.

If you want to modify 2D image you must have Photoshop only.
That's perfect, incidentally it's the fav software of retoucher and digital 2D landscaper.

Aye. I know very basically how Vue works, I toyed around with the free version. As for Photoshop, I am very familiar with it. My hope for Vue would be like this:

I would make a background in Vue, say, something like this: [link]

And then I would paint in one of my characters like this: [link]

Then I would paint over the background to make the styles match. As it is now, I have to paint backgrounds by hand or model them EXTREMELY painstakingly in Maya and/or Zbrush. Vue would make things SO much easier.

I hate being limited by my tools. Hopefully my book will sell well. :}

I want to that you remember a thing: if you want, you can do everythings!

Good Luck !
