It's a classic CLAMP illustration, but with the shaper contrast of their later/current works. The sharp contrast really brings out the expressions of the eyes. The shading with watercolors is gorgeous. I just find this picture very relaxing to look at. With the sharper lines and brighter colors, it has qualities that improve the original.
