His feet doesn't seem to be that appealing. I will post an indirect shot just for you to see.

You like soles with a pattern or if they are a different color to the upper foot? Im assuming flat color as being the same color as the upper foot, leg or throughout the entire body, which happens more then often in media.

The very best soles are ones with either pawpad prints or actual pawpads with surrounding colors different than the rest of the feet. They need not be realistic pads as I've seen a goat with stars on his feet and a full-body costume also with stars in place of conventional pads. Soles are the most fun parts of the feet for me because they're soft, sensitive, tender, can be gently bent into sexy curves and are the only things in contact with the ground and whatever may be on it, like mud and such. So when I discover a new pair of fursuit feet or slippers, my first question is what the soles look like.

The good examples would be Garfield how his feet are featureless without pads. Then there is is Nick Wilde who is fox with pads on his feet and his pads are a different shade then the surrounding fur. Is that what you mean?
Are you ok with variety? I kind of like different art styles when it comes to characters and their feet.
