Now that I'm already feeling better, I just wanted to say that I had a great time last night. My parents and I went to the Adrienne Arsht Center to see the Shen Yun Performing Arts, and let me tell you, it was a blast! I wanted to see it last year, but sadly I didn't get a chance. This was the first time I've experienced classical Chinese dance. The choreography was just BEAUTIFUL. My favorite was the women with the long sleeves. I don't know how long those sleeves are, but I'm guessing that they are about 3-4 feet long. At the orchestra pit, there were some instruments that I've never seen before. One was the pipa. The other one... I forgot. Also, this was my second time seeing an erhu in real life. The first time I saw it was in a different place about a couple of years ago. I feel like I want to see the Shen Yun Performing Arts again next year.
