Got back from my trip to Kagoshima last week with shots of nice places there and thought to share some
This here is Satsuma Denshoukan （薩摩伝承館）。 It houses Satsuma Pottery and many other artefacts from when Japan was a closed country. The owner of this place, I would believe, spent a fortune to purchase back artefacts from that era that ended up overseas through trade and sales. He had this museum built in 2008 to house them. If I do not remember wrongly what the museum guide said, this architecture is made similar to 二条 of Kyoto.
I love how it stands in the middle of a waterbody. So serene.

AH! It does look like 二条城! Just less white. Although a lot of places in Kyoto look similar to this…so who knows? I thought to myself "I want to go visit here!" but then I looked it up on the map. XD Kagoshima is waaaay too far from Kyoto.

Same thoughts exactly >_< It was the highest position I could capture it from without cutting out part of the structure. I cldn't get a perfect reflection, but I think u can view it from it's homepage! I myself grabbed pamphlets with photos that showed a perfect reflection xD

Yes..!! It was located in the countryside so it stands surrounded by nature, mountains and quietness. Very pristine and majestic. I really wanted to stay till it got darker so the lights and reflection would show better. >_<
