Amstedam eh? Bellissimo il momento di volo dei gabbiani che hai preso. Mi ispira tristezza questa foto, perchΓ© non so se ci tornerei adesso.
Una foto molto bella, anche oltre all'apprezzamento soggettivo.

nice pic!!! i would say nice postcard but it s better than a postcard
i love how the water leads the viewer to the light
the birds make the pic more special than an ordinary landscape pic
well done

Utterly transporting - the whole setting feels too good to be true, like a wistful memory more sweet with time. This is pulled off both with your toning but also the perfect focal range of your source shot. The cars would be distracting if shown here with utter clarity, but there's almost a grimy quality to their exposure, and they become an asset to the shot. That focal balance on the whole setting reinforces stillness and that memory quality, so the birds in flight gain some action from the contrast.
Of course, the reflection is utterly gorgeous, that wonderful way that water can shimmer and rend to inconsequence manmade subjects reflect within them. Pure visual charisma there, but pleasantly understated by your hue treatment.
The most critical success in this image is the relative detail on the sidelines, from left to right. The left is relatively bright and clear, and creates an immediately specific sense of setting, but then the shadowed/muted/obscured-by-trees right side minimizes any further distraction of the setting even while completely reinforcing it. So the birds are " framed," but not contained - the vague right side pulls this off marvelously. (Similarly, the "blown out" backdrop in the distance isn't distracting at all, but much more interesting a "destination" than a merely undefined horizon would be.)
Of course, the obvious interpretation is that the birds are the stars of the shot. To an extent this is true. I like how the two primary upward birds " sell" the whole image, but then there are plenty more to explore and enjoy, spread across the range of backdrop contrasts. But honestly, I feel the birds create almost an abstraction of mood that sells the setting - it's the feeling of this that's the true star of the image.
All-around excellent - you should be shining proud of this.

I love the sepia tones and composition of the canel in the background with the flock of birds in the foreground. Amsterdam in winter is such a beautiful place and the play of light on the water and buildings is lovely.

This is a beautiful photo. Itβs got a good focal point, and a lot of elements that make it worth more than just a glance. I found myself studying it for a while.

This is a gorgeous capture - by far one of the better ones in your gallery! It's a combo of;
1) The perspective, I like the horizontal shot, how you've managed to frame the waterway with buildings etc on either side and found a nice balance between water and sky.
2) Those tones - the high contrasts due to the low lighting are wonderful! I really like the slight yellow and brown tones that you can find around the edges of objects because of the light.
3) The action - catching those birds in mid-flight is magic - nicely done!
