I respect you opinion. But if the series die, the fans cry over all the good time we haves. Toys, Games, crossover with Blazblue, even Voice actors interviews.

Not with these jokers. I wouldnβt trust Miles and Kerry with a elementary school production, let alone this. They usedΒ to be good, but they lost the plot somewhere along the way. Time to retire them and hire someone else.

They shouldβve just followed the script laid out by Monty after his death. But the move from Texas to California and the first round of layoffs by AT&T shortly after spooked everyone I think. I believe the decisions Miles and Kerry have made since mid 2015 are a blatant attempt to save themselves from the unemployment line, integrity, loyalty and everything else be damned.
Their not listening or only listening to a select few because theyβve been dancing around the pink slips flying every which way since 2015 at RT. It would be impressive if it wasnβt so pathetic.

She doesn't deserve to be saved. Sure, she had a tragic life, but 90% of what's happened to her is her own fault.Β
Great work all the same though

Its more likely that this may be the only way past her immortality. For her to be redeemed

She shouldn't be redeemed. She's gone far beyond the pale of redemption.

ArcWraith2000 In reply to Soundwave3591 [2019-06-10 05:50:59 +0000 UTC]
Thats not the point. She can't be killed. Her immortality is in effect until she learns the error of her ways and the importance of life & death. Its not so much that she doesn't deserve it but that they don't have a choice but to redeem her. She doesn't necessarily have to survive either. Redemption equals death is a common trope.Β

Has no one heard of imprisonment? Seal her away where she can do no more harm. Use the powers of the relics to deny her her magic.
Salem couldn't accept that she'd brought all this tragedy upon herself when she was still human, nevermind now. She still blames everyone but herself: the gods, Ozpin, all of humanity. Even if she was restored to her humanity she would still need to be punished.

ArcWraith2000 In reply to Soundwave3591 [2019-06-10 22:09:25 +0000 UTC]
Right, Because sealed away evil has always worked endlessly every time its been done in media. Its not practical. Leaves a risk that she might escape or be released. When she does get out she will be extra pissed and evil tombs have a worrying tendency to be forgotten about by future generations even if there is an immortal guardian.
As for acceptance. Most of The Lost Fable's problems started with emotions rather than logic. On top of everyone being idiots. Salem was an idiot. Ozma was an idiot. The God's were advanced idiots. She doesn't need to accept what happened. Just move on from all that idiocy

Soundwave3591 In reply to ArcWraith2000 [2019-06-11 02:03:58 +0000 UTC]
she refused to in the first place, which was part of the problem. her inability to accept Ozma's death, her refusal to accept the judgement of the GODS, her refusal to accept that her unkill-ability was her own fault, her refusal to accept that Ozma wasn't just gonna go along with her batshit-insane "let's kill humanity and repopulate the world with our master-race magic children" plan, it's
Her
own
fault.

Look, even if you say she can't be forgiven, do you think that letting her suffer the burden of her guilt is not enough? And that locking her or killing her is the only way to make up for everything? At the end, the only ones that can judge and decide her fate would Ruby and her friends, not us
π: 2 β©: 1
Soundwave3591 In reply to Danielg0405 [2020-03-19 14:23:47 +0000 UTC]
The only ones who can release her from the punishment of eternity are the gods, and to bring them back with humanity so divided is a death sentence for Remnant. Ozpin is the only one who knows the true scope of what they're up against, at least until Jinn spitefully revealed his entire life story.
Salem needs, first and foremost, to acknowledge and accept her own guilt in these matters, instead of blaming others for her bad decisions.

You're right about that, but Ozpin can't be the only one that does that, Ruby and her friends are far too deep into this, just to let Oz end this by himself

DonΒ΄t worry, I already have a way to save her.Β
And since IΒ΄m a fanfiction author, I donΒ΄t really care how the show handles her redemption.
ThereΒ΄s a lot of time travel involved, and Ruby will face a moral dilemma about whether she should save Salem in the past and guide her and Ozpin on the right path if it means that her friends are never born, meaning that she wonΒ΄t see any of them ever again, but I guess I can pull it off.

This is how it should happen, with Ruby getting through to Salem and Salem finally getting her LONG-overdue rest. Every deity knows the poor woman sorely deserves it.
