Nyx was far too ill-conceived and Snowdrop is just a cheap manipulation of emotions and seems to get along just fine in spite of being blind making any point of feeling sorry for her moot. I don't remember Star Trek TNG ever trying to make us feel bad for Geordi and I'm sure the Daredevil comics weren't stupid enough to expect us to sympathize with him.

That said I'd take Snowdrop over Nyx any day. At least Snowdrop isn't conceived as a character related to any canon characters...

As a critic, I don't hate Nyx, but I feel a great deal of contempt towards her.

I too have some poorly conceived characters, but none related to any existing characters, which speaks volumes because I'm not an original person by any means.

I always imagine Snowdrop to be like Toph, Toph may be blind but she can see by her feet, so what you said about Snowdrop, also fits with Toph, and that does confuse me too, but I'm Partially blind (just 5% vision in one eye) because of my disability, but I can see okay, so I do get at what you mean, but I only like the two because of they're designs and how they relate to my fave Princess in some way, Princess Luna

Bear in mind, I am a big Nyx fan and even have my own custom plush of her.

I even own a first run print copy of Past Sins.

I figured Liking Nyx would have at least hinted that I was a fan of her.

I just have a bit of an issue with you shoehorning her in when she for all intents and purposes does not belong there. And just because I dislike Snowdrop less wouldn't mean that I wouldn't have raised an issue if she were there instead. This was supposed to be a canonical moment was it not? Call it nitpicking if you want, but I still have a problem with it.

So please do understand that it has nothing to do with my dislike of Nyx.

well, it's not a 100% remake, just based on what happened in show. I mean really, DT didn't actually react like this. Plus I'm even missing the Voting booth.

I know now the issue here is accuracy, but this was never meant to be a remake, just more of an adaption.
