Found you through one of Damai's posts. xD
I'd say the biggest criticism I can think of for this one, off of the top of my head is that the background appears to be meant to be stars, but they seem very orderly, where as stars should be kind of random. If you paint your backgrounds first, or have a way to protect your foreground elements through masking, something to try for a bit more intentional chaos would be using a brush with stiff bristles and flicking the paint either through shaking your hand, or pulling back on the bristles and letting them go. Another possible method as well, if you can protect the part you don't want it on, would be to close your eyes and dot the canvas here and there with different amounts of paint, or pressure.
Been a long time since I've painted using physical media, but maybe one of these ideas will work for you, or give you some ideas of your own in how to achieve a more random look.

Yeah, I feel you. Even doing things like that with digital media, things that need to be more 'random' can be tricky. Especially when your program doesn't have spacing and scatter options for brushes. xp

Okay! I hope we, your public, can have news from her. I like a lot the eyes, the hands and the background.
