Due to the planet nearly getting destroyed due to a planned attack on all radioactive sites, which resulted in them all exploding simultaneously, it left very few survivors and either killed or changed others, eg Ft Freddy, who's now been classed as a Mutant due to the radioactive stuff infecting him.
