not dead. yet.this is a pic done for the charity event at my campus' art community. we should draw things based on the theme Fairy Tale [coughclearenoughcough] and I got sleeping beauty. when I ask my friend if I should draw Aurora from Disney, they said "don't you have another idea?"...and to be honest I have no better idea so I draw both of them.
yeah, right
ps: I intended to draw Jade as the princess at first, but that'd be weird, right?

well, I used a lot of references [like...my own hands, my sis', my bro's] just to draw these three hands. hands are always one of my biggest weakness in drawing T___T glad you think these ones look good

if only I didn't do it for the charity event for my college's art community, I'll spend more time on this pic to make it look just as I wanted. but the deadline is so close that I have to rush everything. that's why I asked for critiques [and basically I just love how people take a time to think what to write and how they present their point of view deeply when they give critiques]

What a fantastic drawing! Her pose is so relaxed and unconsious-y, the shading and where it's placed is perfect, and the whole thing looks so calm and fairy-tale...-y 'cause of all the eyes closed. The colours look fantastic (clever to use red and green, opposite colours) and you can see the skill through just the colouring on its own.

um... the top right brightness might be a bit much, but idk, 'cause a definite light sorce helps the shading make sence. so, not really.

once again, brilliant drawing of the hair and folds ^^ there's not much to nitpick in respect of the hair and clothes really, since they're already very well done and colored.
if there's one thing to complain about, it's the expression on the prince's face. seemed a bit stiff to me. could have done with maybe a sadder look and a tear drop.
