I've never tried charcoal..
and for the 'Oceansize minor' drawing which looks like a bit & -that you kindly added to your favorites (thanks again, btw^^)- it's white pencil on black paper.

ooh, i see! thats really awesome!
I can't use charcoal very well, myself
I'm only really truely confortable with pencil, but im trying to widen my horizons a little
