Forgive me for starting the terribly obvious, but this is amazing.
I can not imagine anything more difficult to make out of a medium like felt than a Transformer, especially those with the wonky, stylized lines that define TFA.
So, I offer you my props, GlassCamel. They are well-deserved!

Yep, that's better. Interesting method of putting them together piecemeal like that- I always build mine up following muscle groud. I have to be careful around the joints to not put too much wool or else they won't be able to flex.

Lots of anatomy books help. But the way you break the character down into manageable bits would serve you well with a human. Most of your creations DO follow the 'one torso two arms two legs one head' bipedal humanoid design. And you have enough detail that I think you'd do a decent job with a face once you taught yourself the proportions.
